The Business Unit Manager – Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing all operational activities within the assigned business unit. This role ensures efficiency, quality, and profitability across processes while aligning with company goals and client expectations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an operational leadership role, preferably in outsourcing, BPO, logistics, or service delivery.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational tools (ERP, CRM, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations within the business unit, ensuring productivity and performance targets are met.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (logistics, supply chain, etc.).
- Monitor and optimize KPIs, workflows, and resources to ensure operational excellence.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and client SLAs.
- Support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the business unit.
- Act as a key contact for client communication and relationship management.
- Mentor and coach team leaders and managers to drive high performance.
- Prepare and deliver operational reports and analysis to senior leadership.
