Details
As Business Unit Manager for Marketing, you will be responsible for managing the business unit’s day-to-day activities, setting and executing strategic marketing plans, and achieving financial and operational targets. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, team leadership, and hands-on marketing expertise to ensure the success of the marketing business unit.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in marketing management or business unit leadership, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tools, including digital marketing and analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, achieve financial targets, and optimize resources.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication in English and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the marketing business unit’s strategic plan in alignment with the company’s overall goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns, ensuring optimal ROI.
- Manage the business unit’s P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Identify market opportunities and trends, and develop initiatives to capitalize on them.
- Collaborate with other business units and departments to align marketing efforts with company-wide objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including agencies, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure the business unit operates efficiently and complies with company policies and industry regulations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve marketing processes, tools, and technologies.
